GACCPIT is proud to present our second “German and Careers” series to support our German Language programs in our region. We are delighted to have our colleague from the GACC NY, Tom Dzimian, Director of Careers Services, to share his expertise.

Join us at the University of Pittsburgh Alumni Hall for a presentation on "German and Careers" by Tom Dzimian, Director Career Services at the German American Chamber of Commerce in New York. 

The presentation will cover:

- The state of German-American business development

- The leading German growth industries in the U.S.

- German as an important tool for international career development

- Uncovering job opportunities with German companies in the U.S.

- Opportunities with the German American Chamber of Commerce and AmCham for internships in Germany

About Tom Dzimian:

As the Director of the GACC Career Services, Mr. Dzimian heads a team that recruits students from Germany for corporate internships in the U.S. He also heads the GACC's J-1 Exchange Visitor visa program. Mr. Dzimian is former Chair of the Prüfung Wirtschaftsdeutsch International and is an ardent promoter of the study of German. He frequently speaks on this topic at universities throughout the U.S.
