Successful Completion of Pre-Apprenticeship Program
14 students so far have successfully completed our Pre-Apprenticeship Program!
The Pre-Apprenticeship Program is designed to prepare students to enter and succeed in registered Apprenticeship programs. In other words: it is a paid, college-credited internship that gives high school students in their senior year the opportunity to explore and learn about exciting career paths. The execution of the Pre-Apprenticeship is twofold. It involves dual enrollment (college in high school program) and the internship component. The program ends with participation of the final examination of the MT1 (Manufacturing Technician Level 1) certification that is awarded with 6 college credits from CCAC that can be transferred to the Apprenticeship Program.
So far, this year's cohort includes 14 students who have completed the program!
