GACC Pittsburgh Chapter Foundation

Mission

The purpose of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the German American Chamber of Commerce (New York) Foundation (the "Foundation") is to uphold the mission of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the German American Chamber of Commerce (New York) (the "Chamber") and implement and execute charitable activities including fundraising for the Chamber's Apprenticeship program in connection with businesses to provide on the job training and skills training to unemployed youth in the Pittsburgh area with regional businesses. Funds raised will be used in part to pay for the apprenticeship student tuition. 

 

Fundraising will include future funding of the established Pittsburgh Chapter Ice Gala with contributions expected from corporate sponsors taking part and those interested in the apprenticeship program offered by the Chamber. 

The Foundation was incorporated as a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation and is formed exclusively within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the "Code"). 

The primary sources of financial support of the Foundation will be contributions from both individual and corporate sponsorships as well as grant solicitations to other Pittsburgh regional foundations.
