On May 15th, we hosted our debut "Trainer the Trainer" Workshop, designed to assist companies involved with our Dual Apprenticeship Program in developing effective and efficient training techniques.
This month's Trainer the Trainer workshop hosted 13 representatives from various local partner companies in our Dual Apprenticeship Program. The workshop, put on by our Programming Coordinator, Lisa Conturo, and Matthew Allen Program Coordinator from the GACC New York, presented a German style curriculum for effective apprentice training methods. The trainers learned the ins and outs of the purpose of the Dual Apprenticeship Program, how to individualize training methods, as well as mentorship principles.
