Welcome to Pittsburgh – AI and Robotics Delegation Visit
Yesterday, the German American Chamber of Commerce (GACC) Pittsburgh Chapter had the pleasure of welcoming the AI and Robotics Delegation to the region. Following an insightful exploration of the AI and robotics landscape in Boston in collaboration with the New York Chapter, the delegation has now arrived in Pittsburgh to continue its journey of innovation and transatlantic exchange.
The visit is centered around gaining deeper insights into Pittsburgh’s advanced AI and robotics industry while fostering strong German-American partnerships.
Rachel Mauer, President of the GACC Pittsburgh Chapter, officially opened the day by introducing the chapter’s mission, the project team, and the program highlights planned for the delegation’s stay.
We extend our sincere thanks to Jennifer Apicella, Executive Director of the Pittsburgh Robotics Network, for her expert presentation, and to Michael Henderson, Senior Director of Business Investment at the Pittsburgh Regional Alliance, for the engaging discussion and valuable insights into the region’s innovation ecosystem.
In the evening, the GACC Pittsburgh team joined the delegation for a networking dinner—an opportunity to exchange ideas, deepen connections, and celebrate the spirit of collaboration between Germany and the United States.
