The German American Chamber of Commerce, Pittsburgh Chapter was honored to welcome a government delegation from the German State of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) to Pittsburgh as part of the delegation's visit to Pennsylvania.
The delegation, consisting of representatives from the NRW Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Action and Energy and the NRW State Chancellery, visited Pittsburgh to strengthen transatlantic cooperation and support preparations for the renewal of the Pennsylvania–NRW Declaration of Intent. The program highlighted the region's strengths in advanced manufacturing, innovation, workforce development, robotics, and artificial intelligence while fostering dialogue between government, industry, academia, and regional stakeholders.
Throughout the visit, the delegation participated in meetings, roundtable discussions, and site visits with leading companies, research institutions, economic development organizations, and public officials. These exchanges provided valuable opportunities to share best practices, explore future collaboration, and further strengthen the long-standing partnership between Pennsylvania and North Rhine-Westphalia.
The GACC Pittsburgh Chapter extends its sincere appreciation to all participating organizations and partners who contributed to the success of the visit. We look forward to building on the relationships established during the delegation and continuing to promote German-American business and innovation throughout the region.
