Join us for a special Lunch and Learn event at the Education and Training Center at Pit- Titusville! This event is a great opportunity for local employers to connect, learn, and explore how the German American Chamber of Commerce´s Mechatronics Apprenticeship Program in partnership with NWPA, Northern Pennsylvania Regional College and Keystone Development Partnership can help strengthen your workforce. This project is provided by the U.S. Navy Talent Pipeline Program

About the Program:

The Mechatronics Apprenticeship Program blends one day a week of classroom instruction with hands-on training in advanced manufacturing. It’s designed to provide your team with the skills they need—tailored to meet your company's unique needs.

  • Keystone Development Partnership (KDP): Develops and manages workforce programs that connect businesses with skilled talent by bringing together employers, educators, and community partners to strengthen local communities.
  • Northwest Industrial Resource Center: Helps small and mid-sized manufacturers in northwest Pennsylvania grow and become more competitive by providing consulting, advanced manufacturing strategies, and customized workforce training.
  • U.S. Navy Talent Pipeline Program (Pittsburgh): acts as a regional hub strengthening the maritime defense industrial base by connecting manufacturers with skilled workers.

Did you know? 

GACC Pittsburgh received state grant funding to support new apprentices in advanced manufacturing.


Through this support, employers and apprentices can benefit from tuition assistance, wage subsidies, gas reimbursement, and no-cost trainer seminars for select GACC PIT apprenticeship programs.
